Creativity for Wellbeing
A personal journey of self–expression and exploration that we can take together. This is not a group for making great art, it is about genuine connection with your own internal experience. In today’s culture it is so easy to lose connection with self, getting distracted with our busy lives and forgetting to live intentionally in alignment with our values. This group offers the opportunity to take a break and reconnect with self for a few minutes each week. Through the use of meditation, writing, art and poetry we can accompany each other in the art of reconnection. No skills required to participate fully.
What does each week look like?
Week 1: Introduction to Self-Exploration
- During the first week the theme revolves around what matters most to you.
Week 2: Discovering Personal Values
- The theme this week is understanding who you are as an individual.
Week 3: Expressing Emotions Through Art
- This week the theme is understanding the spectrum of emotions.
Week 4: Integration and Reflection
- In the last week of this group we will be looking at the journey forward.
