Honoring Loss, Finding Meaning, and Holding Space for What Remains
Honoring Loss, Finding Meaning, and Holding Space for What Remains
The loss of a loved one. The loss of identity in retirement. The loss of health, community, or a sense of safety in the world.
Yet, most of us were never taught how to grieve. Instead, we’re met with phrases like “look on the bright side” or “you’ll find someone new.” But grief isn’t something to get over — it’s something we learn to live alongside.
Grief Support offers a brave space to name your losses, feel them fully, and have them witnessed with compassion. Together, we’ll make room for both the sadness and the possibility of joy, honoring your loss without rushing your healing.
Anyone experiencing loss — whether through death, separation, illness, identity change, or life transitions.
A compassionate, non-judgmental space to share your story, have your grief witnessed, and learn to coexist with loss while gently reconnecting with life.
Spiritual Health Practitioner
I am a lifelong learner and I love engaging in the process of growing, healing and learning about myself. I am passionate about being a companion to others in a way that helps them discover and grow in self-understanding, self-compassion and self-trust.
I am the mom of 3 awesome adult kids and a new grandma which is the absolute best!
I love tending to my garden, the birds in my yard and find peace and beauty in the mountains, water and kayaking. I continue learning through reading, listening to podcasts, taking courses, travelling and listening to people’s lives through story.
I am formally educated with a Masters in Spiritual Formation and Certified in Spiritual Direction from George Fox Seminary. I completed 4 Units of CPE (Clinical Psychospiritual Education) jointly through Ambrose University and Foothills Medical Center in Calgary and have trained and received Grief Care Professional Certificates.
I have also experienced the honor of listening and providing emotional/spiritual support to hundreds of people in Acute Care settings and in Palliative care. As much as I believe in the value of Education, my heart desire has always been to be a loving, listening presence to people. It took me a long time to value my own grief, my own story and now it is deeply fulfilling to assist others in a similar journey.
